5:40 train
Éabha · Age 16 · Longford
You've been waiting for the city train for 20 minutes. All you can think of is getting to work on time, and getting a good head start on those papers that still need to be handed in at the end of the week. It's raining and cloudy, and you're coming down with a fever. Although the bustle of people is enough to give anyone a headache. You push past the mass crowds of people taking your place on the train when it arrives, and it sets off. You are falling half asleep in your seat. You notice the other people. Their own lives, their own dreams. Their own destinations. Such hallucinations.
